Equipment Health

Why SOS Fluid Analysis Matters

SOS Fluid Analysis helps identify developing equipment issues before they become costly failures. Routine oil, coolant, fuel, and hydraulic fluid sampling can help your team monitor machine health, spot contamination, confirm maintenance practices, and plan repairs before downtime becomes urgent.

Spot developing issues earlier
Track fluid condition over time
Confirm maintenance is being performed at the right interval
Support repair planning before downtime becomes urgent
Keep sample status, results, and recommendations tied to the correct asset
Use one tool for Cat and non-Cat fleet information

Troubleshooting

I Do Not See The Right Compartment

Confirm the serial number or CAT PIN was entered correctly. If the compartment still does not populate, email SOS@wyomingcat.com for assistance.

My Sample Is Sitting In "In Progress"

Check the "In Progress" tab daily. If a sample stays there longer than expected, confirm you are online and signed in, then contact Wyoming Machinery support.

The Serial Number Shows An Error

Check for transposed letters or numbers, confirm whether the equipment is Cat or non-Cat, and try scanning the CAT PIN if available.

The QR Code Or Barcode Will Not Scan

Make sure the code is clean, flat, and well lit. If scanning still fails, manually enter the serial number or bottle information where VisionLink allows it.
